Refurbished units aren’t exactly new-conditioned, but the company says the listings have each been carefully inspected and “tested to ensure premium quality” and come with a one-year warranty in case of accidents or defects. The warranty matches what Google offers with its flagship Pixel 9 phones – a significant advantage compared to buying a used phone from a third-party marketplace like eBay or Swappa.
The devices have also been refurbished with genuine Google parts, meaning you can expect a display, battery and other components of a similar quality to those found in new handsets. Again, if you buy a used phone from an independent reseller, there is no guarantee that you will receive a device with original parts.

While none of the phones sold will support Google’s latest AI tools, they will still be receptive to operating system upgrades, Pixel Feature Drops, and security patches for at least another two years.
